Now THIS is a Charismatic Kid. Granted, she does look five years old, not eight; so that may skew your perception of how well spoken she is. But really, confidence knows no age. You can make the excuse that she’s too young to know why she should be nervous, and I’ll stop you right there. Tell me what little girl would be confident enough to rock the stage the way Sophia Grace has. Not only the stage, but her interview was flawless. She wasn’t answering monosyllabically, she was answering with full fearlessness. She was speaking as if she’s speaking to her friends or family, no different.

To raise confident kids, you have to allow them to speak to others on their own. Were her parents up there answering things for her? No, she was doing it on her own. That’s the mindset I want you to have with your own child around other people, whether it is adults, family, friends, or kids.
